As the research community prepares for future funding opportunities through the Dementia Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (DPRIT), join TIDAL for a panel discussion featuring UT Austin faculty who have successfully secured funding from the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT).
While the DPRIT grant program and application format have not yet been announced, CPRIT provides a valuable model for understanding how a large state-funded research institute evaluates proposals and supports scientific innovation. Panelists will share practical insights from their grant-writing experiences, discuss lessons learned throughout the application process, and offer advice on developing competitive research proposals.
This informal conversation is designed to help researchers begin preparing for future DPRIT funding opportunities by learning from the experiences of successful CPRIT awardees.
